The winners of The Emerson Cup 2013 have been announced. This is the 6th edition of the annual event organized by Emerson Climate Technologies to recognize outstanding and environmentally responsible designs in air conditioning. There were three award categories – New Building, New Building with Emerson Technologies and Retrofit Building. Each award category had two winners – one for a project from metropolitan cities and another from emerging cities. The following are the award winners in these categories: Retrofit category from emerging city: BWI Automotive Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Rewari, Haryana. Retrofit category from metropolitan city: Green Initiative team at Infosys Ltd. for the Shols project in Chennai. New Building category from emerging city: Design Atelier for Start Up IT Farms Pvt. Ltd., Chandigarh. New Building category from metropolitan city: Satish N. Iyenger, Services Consultants for Puma Store at Bengaluru. New Building with Emerson Technologies from emerging city: Schott Kaisha Pvt. Ltd., Vadodara, Gujarat, executed jointly by Shah & Talati and Apex Consultants & Engineers. New Building with Emerson Technologies from metropolitan city: ElectroArc Consulting Engineers for their project NetApp (India) Pvt. Ltd. at Bengaluru. Giovanni Zullo, Vice President – Marketing & Planning Asia Pacific, Emerson Climate Technologies addressed the presentation ceremony. Sridar Narayanswami – Vice President & Managing Director for Emerson Climate Technologies (India) Ltd., expressed gratitude for the industry support received for the awards over the past six years. C. N. Raghavendra, Dipak Barma, G.C. Modgil, Pratap Padode and Sudipta Sanyal comprised the distinguished panel of highly regarded specialists from the HVAC industry who evaluated the entries independently.
