Renson® has developed System C+®EVO with Healthbox®, a demand-controlled ventilation system for optimal ventilation. It combines the constant supply of fresh air through self-regulating vents and its transit via door grilles, with the on-demand extraction of polluted air in all rooms by a central
extraction unit. Healthbox® has a powerful motor with control modules to ensure proper ventilation of any connected room at all times. Dynamic sensors measure the extraction air in both wet and dry rooms round the clock for CO2 or humidity and/or VOCs, and adapt the ventilation level accordingly. Helathbox’s Smartzone technology provides ventilation control within the rooms according to their occupancy. For example, when
residents are watching television, the extraction level is raised in the living room. When they go to sleep, extraction from the living room is decreased and more polluted air is extracted from the bedrooms. Healthbox® is installed in an unused corner in the attic or in a technical room. The user only sees an aluminium designer grill in the rooms from where air is extracted. As the location of the control system is in the electronic control modules on the motor unit, the grills can be easily integrated with the ceiling or the wall, with a plaster, plasterboard or MDF base surface. These grills are generally supplied in matt white but can be painted over. The customer can choose between 6 different designs to suit different kinds of interiors.
The fan is calibrated automatically and regulates itself so as to achieve the exact extraction capacity for each room. This avoids the risk of adjustment errors, thus ensuring proper flow rate in each room. Automatic calibration leads to significant time savings during installation. The adjustment of Healthbox® takes 7 minutes on average, against 60 minutes for a standard System C.
