REFCOLD India Emerson Awards 2019 – The Saga of Excellence continues

REFCOLD INDIA EMERSON AWARDS - an annual award competition jointly instituted by ISHRAE along with Emerson, is seen by the talented professionals of the industry as a platform to achieve recognition and acclaim. In its short stint, it has come to be seen as a barometer for excellence and outstanding achievement in the Refrigeration and Cold Chain Industry. The award focuses on all facets of the industry ranging from refrigeration technologies & cold chain technologies to cold chain infrastructure related components like cold storage components, reefer trucks, IoT solutions, material handling systems etc.

Award Categories

The REFCOLD INDIA Emerson Awards 2019 will have three Award categories this year.
• Innovative Refrigeration Plants / Projects – Winner & Runners Up
This award category is open for Refrigeration Projects/Plants that have been set up anywhere in India during the past 5 years.
• Innovative Cold Chain Infrastructure Projects – Winner & Runners Up
This award category is focusing on projects which pertain to development of cold chain infrastructure such as pack houses, perishable processing centers, reefer vehicles, material handling, food tracing and IOT systems etc. (Not restricted to refrigeration systems)
• Innovative Refrigeration Products – Winner & Runners Up
The award category is for Innovative Refrigeration or Cold Chain Accessory Products either manufactured or imported into India and are commercially available in the
country.

After fulfilling the qualifying criteria and going the process of shortlisting, selecting the winners is based on parametric evaluation among other crucial elements. The winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony on 21 November.

REFCOLD Business Summit - Exclusive exhibitors and partners will convene at this summit where the chief agenda is to find out the potential and to create new experiences which are waiting to be explored. One to one interaction will take place with top players of Refrigeration and Cold Chain Industry. With REFCOLD Business Summit, new prospects, ideas and ventures will be opened up for the Refrigeration and Cold Chain Industry across the world and India.

Global Student Poster Design Competition 2019 - The poster competition to provide an opportunity to students around the world and test their prowess and creativity in the topics of enhanced agriculture, aquaculture, health care and any other topic linked to Refrigeration & Cold Chain solutions.

BIZQUIZ - Bring Back The School And College Days! For the very first time ISHRAE is launching a nationwide Quiz Contest for Professionals who are members of ISHRAE by the name – BIZQUIZ. Held on the side-lines of REFCOLD, the Quiz program will be technical, knowledge bearing to rekindle the book information in industry professionals, while being simultaneously thrilling and entertaining. Previously, BIZQUIZ was the flagship programme of ISHRAE Deccan Chapter and with the huge success of previous 4 editions, now the event has been planned as a national event by Youth@ISHRAE. The entire event is powered by Systemair India. BIZQUIZ 2019 will help many to refresh the fundamentals and also update in fields of Refrigeration, Cold Chain and Air Conditioning Industry. Eight teams including one all-women team and one each from the seven zones will compete at the Grand Finale on 22 November during REFCOLD India 2019, Hyderabad.

Entrepreneurs' Conclave for Industry Experts - A focused conference highlighting success stories from invited speakers from the industry.

REFCOLD Innovation Hub - A showcase for prestigious creative ideations, visions, innovations, patented products, and technologies which have power to transform the Refrigeration and Cold Chain industry to its core. Innovation Hub is designed to be a great opportunity for the talented and sharp visionaries to showcase their skills. Based on the idea of ‘Make In India’ Campaign, the intention is to promote the talented youth and companies from India to showcase their strengths.This platform promotes innovation and creativity on a more solid ground where people from different countries are encouraged and are willing to learn more. Innovation Hub will have promising exhibitors, partners and the Next Gen.
