Papers are being sought for the 2nd International Conference on Efficient Building Design – Materials and HVAC Equipment Technologies. The conference, organized by ASHRAE, the ASHRAE Lebanese Chapter, American University of Beirut, and the Munib R. and Angela Masri Institute for Energy and Natural Resources, will be held on September 22–23, 2016 in Beirut. The objective of the conference is to present advanced research on topics of better building design, particularly adapted to the Arab region and its hot, humid Gulf climate, and moderate, humid Mediterranean climate. A call for abstracts (400 words in length) opens on June 15, 2015. Abstracts are due by September 15, 2015. If accepted, papers are due by February 15, 2016.
