India has extended an anti-dumping duty of US$ 1.22/kg on R134a refrigerant from China for a period of five years till July 2021. India had first imposed the anti-dumping duty
in July 2011. An investigation by the Directorate General of Anti-dumping and Allied Duties found that imports from China were undercutting the prices of the domestic industry
significantly and depressing the domestic prices.
