Danfoss India has extended its range of compressors and condensing units for low temperature cold room applications in India. The new additions, the LLZ scroll range of compressors and Optyma Slim Pack condensing units, are light weight and space saving, and incorporate micro-channel heat exchangers that need 35% lesser refrigerant quantity. Engineered for applications at low temperatures in the range of -40°C to +10°C, the new LLZ range helps in bringing down operating costs, suits a wide range of operating conditions and meets demanding food standards for units and racks for cold rooms and supermarkets. The range extension for Optyma Slim Pack complies with new energy regulation norms for fan motors. The range for lowtemperature refrigeration applications is from 0.6 to 5.6 kW, while for medium temperatures it ranges from 0.8 to 10.6 kW. The condensing unit components such as compressor, controls and heat exchangers are optimised to work together. The heavy-duty scroll technology makes the unit sturdy and provides long-term reliability. It is suitable for cold rooms, fermentation rooms and cold storage space in convenience stores and restaurants. Apart from compressors and condensing units for low temperature applications, Danfoss offers MLZ compressors for medium temperature applications.
The complete Danfoss solution for cold rooms includes electronic controllers (ERC and System Managers), which help in better connectivity and monitoring of the cold room, in addtion to the range of expansion valves, pressure controls and line components that protect the system against pressure and temperature fluctuations, impurities, moisture, etc.
