ACREX INDIA 2016: 26 Years of Showcasing Excellence in HVAC&R

• South Asia’s largest exhibition on Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Refrigerating and Building services will be held in Mumbai from 25th-27th February 2016. 
• ‘Make in India - Infinite Opportunities for HVAC&R and the Building Services Industry’. 

ACREX India, South Asia’s largest exhibition on Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Refrigerating and Building Services, is returning to Mumbai. ACREX 2016 is scheduled to take place at Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) in Mumbai on February 25 to 27, 2016.


The theme for ACREX India 2016 is Make in India - Infinite ‘Opportunities for HVAC&R and the Building Services Industry’, envisioned around promoting the potential the HVAC&R sector has to offer and the tangible benefits various sectors can avail of through a robust Public-Private partnership. ISHRAE, the organizers of ACREX 2016, expect a footfall of over 30,000 trade visitors with around 500 exhibitors set to exhibit their products and services on a display area of more than 30,000 square meters. With the participation of major global players and increased 
participation from specific countries, ACREX 2016 will have special country pavilions for China, Germany, USA, Korea and first-time Turkey. ACREX India is set to offer a holistic view on worldwide trends in residential and commercial spaces, building design and related product innovations primarily developed around energy conservation and sustainability. Speaking to the media, ISHRAE National President K. Ramachandran said, “With the government’s focus on Make in India and smart city development, the real estate industry has a potential for tremendous growth and innovation. Energy conservation targeted towards sustainability will hold environmental and commercial benefits that are primarily long term in nature. The increasing purchasing power of the middle income group has created a surge for household electrical appliances. India’s home automation market
is growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 30%, closely followed by refrigeration and cold chain with a CAGR of 25%. Special pavilions at ACREX 2016 will highlight the importance of these sectors and provide their comprehensive overview.” Speaking on the occasion, Pankaj Dharkar, Chairman of ACREX India 2016 said, “The 26th edition of ACREX India is set to promote the need for the government and industries to come together to develop a robust system for development and innovation in the HVAC&R industry, which will defi ne a roadmap for energy conversation and sustainability. The abundant human resources and the domestic manufacturing potential needs to be harnessed and showcased to the world. ACREX 2016 is set to showcase the boundless opportunities in the Indian HVAC&R industry.” ACREX 2016 will also present a
