ISHRAE's Honors & Awards programme recognises the outstanding contributions of its members — from lifetime service and technical excellence to international collaboration, student activities, and society leadership. These awards reflect the values of dedication, innovation, and commitment that define the ISHRAE community.
Honors deceased members who have made milestone contributions to the growth of ISHRAE-related technology.
Recognises a Life Member in good standing whose contribution is unparalleled and unmatched in the formation/running of the Society/Chapter, and is a source of inspiration and guiding strength.
Recognises individuals who have been a member for a minimum of 25 years, and are either a past Society President, a Fellow, recipient of the Distinguished Service Award, or have performed outstanding service to the Society.
Recognises a member who has served the Society faithfully with exemplary effort, in excess of that required for the Distinguished Service Award. The individual must have been a full grade Member for a minimum of ten years and a recipient of the Distinguished Service Award.
Recognises members who have served ISHRAE faithfully as a member of committees or otherwise giving freely of his/her time and talent on behalf of the Society.
Recognises distinction in the arts relating to the sciences of heating, refrigeration, air conditioning or ventilation — through invention, research, teaching, design, or original work — as a full grade Member in good standing for at least ten (10) years.
Recognises the member who has performed the most outstanding work in increasing the membership of the Society.
Recognises a member who has done the most and given his time and talent to enhance the Society's international activities.
Recognises a chapter Student Activities Chair for services related to the goals and growth of student activities at all levels.
Recognises the two best author(s) in the ISHRAE Journal for the calendar year. Articles by foreign contributors are considered only if written for publication in the AC&R Journal and not published elsewhere — in India or overseas.
Recognises the activities and contributions of members of ISHRAE at the chapter and regional level. Requires 15 points to qualify for the award.
Recognises the activities and contributions of members of ISHRAE at the chapter level. Requires 12 points to qualify for the award. RD to review data for accuracy.
The Society recognises the contribution of the employer by encouraging his employees to become Society members and allows company resources and time for the growth of the Society.
Recognises any person of pre-eminent professional distinction without reference to whether he or she is, or was, a member of the Society.
