Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Journal is the official magazine of the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers - ISHRAE. The Society is affiliated with ASHRAE, American Society for Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers Inc, USA.

Since the first issue – July-Sept’98 - the magazine was published quarterly (until end-2012) and circulated within ISHRAE fraternity all over India. Most engineering colleges enroll for library copy or have a ISHRAE Student Chapter that is operational. The total Circulation of the Journal is 8,200 copies. And it increases with each passing issue.

Frequency: From 2013 onwards, Journal is published on a Bi-monthly basis (6 issues in a year) with 2 alternating supplements.

Supplements: COLD CHAIN, a focused supplement that was started from Jan-March 2010 issue, is from 2013 being published in alternate issues, i.e. March-April, July-Aug, & Nov-Dec. A new supplement AC&R S|I|M – focused on Service, Installation & Maintenance aspects of the industry is released with Jan-Feb, May-June & Sept-Oct issues of Journal.

Full page (Bleed size) : 22.2 x 27.3 cms (8.75" x 10.75") includes 3mm extra on both sides of W and H for bleeding.

Cut/Trim size : 8.5 x 10.5 inches (21.6 x 26.7 cms). Cut marks to be placed on this size.

NOTE : Keep all Live matter (TEXT and GRAPHICS) at least 1.3 cm inside of all 4 edges of Cut/Trim size.

Non-Bleed Ad : Size W x H: 18 x 24 cms (7" x 9.5")

Bleed Size (Open) W x H : 17.25 x 10.75 inches (43.82 x 27.30 cms) (includes 3mm on all 4 sides for bleeding).

Trim/ Cut size : 17 x 10.5 inches (43.20 x 26.67 cms) (Cut marks to be placed on this size.

NOTE : All Live matter (TEXT and IMAGES) must be kept 1.3 cms inside of the trim/cut size. Also, 0.8 cms away from either side of the centre vertical to avoid getting into the Binding.

Horizontal (W x H) : 18 x 11.4 cms (7" x 4.50") Vertical (W x H): 9 x 23 cms (3.5" x 9")

QUARTER Page : 9 x 11.5 cms (3.5" x 4.5")

Open Trim/Cut Size : 5 x 6 inches. Add 3mm extra on both sides of W and H for bleed (if bleed Ad).

Folded Size : 2.5 x 6 inches). The folded bookmark will be suspended with a blue/red satin chord through an aperture 1cm below the top edge. Artwork to be provided for both sides (front and back).

Gate fold : 39 x 24 cms (15.5” x 9.5”). *alternate size option available.

File Type : Hi-res PDF (Fonts must be converted to curves/ subset embedded). Hi-res JPG (300 DPI or higher) will also do. If in JPG, Black colour text must be in single colour (% of K only) and not a combination with C, Y or M.
