The importance of the heat load calculations can be understood from the fact that right from the designing of the building itself, the HVAC designer works closely with the building architect to making recommendations for the locations of the various air-conditioning systems of suitable sizes. Before the actual construction of the building the architect has to design the building and with them the HVAC designer makes important recommendations that affect the building designing large way About the Speaker : Mr Dipak Barma is a graduate Mechanical Engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur having completed his B. Tech (Hons) in 1975. He worked in Blue Star Ltd for 15 years in the HVAC & R Projects Division. After his stint with Blue Star he started his own Consultancy and Design-Build firm in the MEP Services sector in 1990. He has been successfully operating his venture for the past 27 years.
