Workshop by Contamination Control Society of India

The Contamination Control Society of India (CCSI), with support from ISHRAE Chapters of Mumbai and Thane and ASHRAE Mumbai Chapter, organised a one day Workshop on December 19 at Hotel Parle International, Mumbai. It was a theory and hands-on training workshop on ‘Testing, Adjusting & Balancing of HVAC Systems, and Validation of Cleanrooms’. CCSI is a member of International Confederation of Contamination
Control Societies (ICCCS). Sheesh Gulati, CEO of Measure Test Corporation, Mumbai and Chairman of CCSI, welcomed the delegates. Santsaran
Advani, Honorary Secretary of CCSI who heads a contamination control advisory service, made a presentation on HEPA Filter Integrity and Efficiency Testing. Sarfraz Panjwani of ALM spoke on Testing, Adjusting & Balancing of HVAC Systems. This was followed by Sheesh Gulati’s presentation on Certification & Monitoring of Cleanrooms. In the post-lunch session, Sheesh Gulati explained the new revised Cleanroom Standards ISO 14644-1 & 2. The last session was hands-on training on validation instruments (air capture hood, airborne particle counter, aerosol photometer, smoke generator, RH, temperature, air velocity and differential pressure sensors). Tejveer Singh, Secretary of CCSI, summed up the proceedings. Over 60 delegates attended the Workshop.
