Systemair India has inaugurated its state-of-art Green facility across 12,000 sq m in Greater Noida, with an AMCA certified test rig, expo center and manufacturing set up. The factory is designed and constructed as a Green Building under LEED BD+C-NC 2009. Systemair India manufactures Eurovent certified air handling units, UL listed fire dampers and AMCA certified fans in this facility. The inauguration was marked by a sapling planting ceremony and the traditional lighting of the lamp in the presence of dignitaries like Dr. P. C. Jain, AshishRakheja, R. V. Simha, R. S. Kulkarni, Kavy Pradeep and Pankaj Dharkar and about 250 guests. The ribbon was cut by CEO Gerald Engstrom. The guests were then taken on a tour of the factory and expo area. Gerald Engstrom outlined the future plans of Systemair for Indian HVAC market. Mats Lund, the driving force behind Systemair’s growth, shared his views and the path ahead. Asokdas, M D acknowledged his team’s contribution and thanked customers from different parts of the world. A cultural event followed, showing the colours and cultures of India. Systemair started its business in India in 1999 through a distributor. It had its own presence in India in 2006 through the Swedish Trade Counsel. The operations were started in the name of Systemair Fans Pvt. Ltd. The acquisition of Ravistar in 2009 and IAPL in 2011 gave a boost to the company by diversifying its business in the Indian HVAC market. Starting with four sales offices regionally and a warehouse in Alwar, Systemair has grown fast, with operations in 9 major cities and manufacturing hubs in Greater Noida and Hyderabad.
