Uniflair, a part of Schneider Electric (I) Pvt. Ltd., has introduced Unisplit, a split air conditioner for data centres, in India. The indoor unit may be mounted on a wall or a ceiling, and comes with microprocessor control to maintain the room conditions precisely. The wall-mounted option has a provision for free cooling. The condensing unit is fi tted with a scroll compressor, and is equipped with modulating fan speed control. Serviceability is a key design feature, with access to the electrical board, the ‘technical’ compartment and servo-motor for free cooling damper. A separate panel for the fan compartment enables calibration and servicing without turning off the unit.
