Balaji Institute of Technical Training (BITT) has been launched at Pune to impart technical training to refrigeration plant operators and diploma holders. BITT will conduct short term and long term training courses to enhance operators’ skills and competencies. It aims to increase awareness among plant operators, engineers, managers and owners about the need for efficient and safe running of plants. It will serve the industry’s need for trained manpower. The first three-day training program for plant operators is scheduled to start on June 12, and will be repeated every fortnight. BITT claims to be a professionally managed Institute with an independent identity in the refrigeration Industry. It invites all stakeholders in the refrigeration and its application industries such as fruit, vegetables, meat, seafood, horticultural products, food processing, dairy and pharmaceutical industries to take advantage of the training facilities.
