Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trade Association (RATA), supported by ISHRAE Mumbai Chapter, organized a presentation on Labour Law for HVAC&R Industry on July 22 at The Mirador Hotel, Mumbai. The presentation, by Advocate Vijay Nakashe of LK Nakashe Consultants Pvt. Ltd., covered Employees’ Provident Funds Act 1952, Sexual Harassment at Workplace Act 2013, Employees’ State Insurance Act 1948, The Minimum Wages Act 1948, Shops & Establishment Act and other Acts covering gratuity, bonus, maternity benefits, contract labour and Labour Welfare Fund.
