Gaurang Pandya has been appointed President, India Operations by UTC Building & Industrial Systems, a unit of United Technologies – a leading provider to the aerospace and building technologies industries worldwide. He has an experience of over 15 years working within United Technologies in a broad spectrum of leadership roles across India and Asia. In his new position, he will have the responsibility for leading brands such as Carrier, Otis, Edwards, Chubb and Kidde in India. He previously served as managing director for Carrier Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Limited in India, providing oversight for a large portfolio that included commercial air-conditioning, fire and security solutions.

Madhava Rao has been conferred Lifetime Service Award by ISHRAE. A mechanical engineer, and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, he was the Founder Chairman of ACREX India 1990 – the first ever, as well as ACREX India 2015 – the latest. He was ISHRAE Bangalore Chapter President in 1990-91 and National President in 1994-95, and has served ISHRAE in various other capacities. After a long and varied experience in companies like Voltas, Al Futtaim, Paharpur Cooling Towers and Suvidha Engineers, he is currently with Citizen Industries at Bangalore.

Arvind Surange has been conferred Lifetime Service Award by ISHRAE. A post graduate from the University of Roorkee, he has undergone specialized training in Germany and Denmark and is a leading consultant in Cold Chain and HVAC projects for over 42 years. He is President Emeritus of ISHRAE Pune Chapter, and was ISHRAE National President 1996-97. He is the author of Cold Storage Basics published by ISHRAE, and is a member of the technical committee of NHB. He is a Fellow Member, ASHRAE, and a past president of ASHRAE WIC.

Shantanoo Laghate has been admitted as a Fellow Member of ISHRAE. He is an M. Tech. from IIT Mumbai, with over 45 years of experience in design and installation of M&E systems and building services as a contractor, and as a consultant in the Middle East and India. Currently he is M&E Technical Adviser to Voltas, as well as to several contractors and consultants in the Middle East. He has trained fresh and experienced Building Services engineers and supervisors during his career.
