Paharpur Cooling Towers, the largest manufacturer of process cooling equipment in Asia, has achieved certification of cooling tower series CF3 and OXF-30K by the Cooling Technology Institute (CTI), USA. It is the only manufacturer in India to have achieved CTI certification for both counterflow and crossflow cooling towers. CTI is a non-profit scientific association, which assures acceptable quality levels and performance of evaporative heat transfer systems and their components by establishing standard specifications, guidelines and certification programs including standard testing and performance analysis systems and procedures. The certification guarantees that a particular line of cooling towers will perform thermally in accordance with its published thermal rating. The counterflow CF3 range has 66 certified models and crossflow OXF-30K has 38. Towers from the CF3 range have already been supplied for the upcoming Delhi Metro Phase III project.
