Refco’s hydraulic expander tool kit HY-EX-6 is now available with 10 expander heads. The HY-EX-10 is suitable for imperial size tubes of 1/4“, 5/16“, 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4”, 7/8”, 1-1/8”, 1-3/8“ and 1-5/8“ diameters. Using hydraulic power, this lightweight expander achieves expansion of soft copper and aluminium tubing with a few pumps of the handle. The 120° angle requires less power to pump and suits the natural wrist angle. The hydraulic mechanism and the quick release button enable this tool to be operated single-handedly. The laser-engraved expander heads can be quickly changed and fit all common HVAC/R imperial size copper tubing. Heads for all metric size copper tubing are available as well. Rough edges or burrs can be removed with the included sturdy deburring tool RFA-209-STYLO-HD prior to expanding the tube. The compact pistol shape allows the tool to fit into small and hard to reach spots. The tool is compatible with the most common expander systems on the market.
