International Training Center by Bitzer
03 March 2015

Bitzer, a specialist in refrigeration compressors, is building an international training center in Rottenburg-Ergenzingen (Germany) over an area of 1,500 square meters, named the Schaufler Academy. It will deliver training programs focusing on refrigeration compressors, components and system solutions. The three-story, ten-meter-tall Schaufler academy will be able to host several training courses at the same time, for theoretical and practical training. The multifunctional building will also serve as a representative reception building for the Rottenburg production facility. Bitzer will also showcase its latest products at the academy. One of the highlights will be the innovative energy concept, featuring heat pumps for heating and cooling, underground latent storage (ice storage), a solar thermal collector and a block-type thermal power station.
