ICL Delhi Wins Large Contract in Philippines

International Coil Ltd., a Delhi-based global company specialising in heat transfer technology and refrigeration solutions, has formed ‘ICL-Energetix Consortium’ in a JV with Philippines-based Energetix, for green and sustainable energy solutions. The first contract obtained by the JV is valued at $35 million for designing, supplying and installing a CHP project for a huge Casino Resort (Tiger Resort & Entertainment, Manila). Spread over 45 hectares and to be completed in ten months, it is the largest of the four licensees in Entertainment City, Manila. Several leading international companies quoted for this global tender, and ICL-Energetix was strongly qualified based on a techno-commercial demonstration as the only company in the list of bidders to meet the stringent specifications to supply chilled water from waste heat recovery of engines. A high level delegation from the client and consultant’s side visited ICL’s largest CHP installation (95 MW + 40,000 TR) at DLF Gurgaon to check its capabilities and strengths before award of the prestigious contract. The team also visited ICL’s manufacturing facilities, since a substantial part of the contract will be supplied from India.
