To create awareness about the advantages of Variable Refrigerant Flow Systems, International Copper Association India (ICA India) conducted a seminar in Delhi on October 14 and in Bengaluru on October 19. The objective was to promote the use of VRF systems and best practices amongst stakeholders. The speakers were A. Madhukar, CEO – Climatics; Gaurav Rohilla, Manager – Product Sales, Voltas; Girish Wadhera, Senior Manager VRF, Voltas; Anil Yadav, Deputy Manager, Daikin Airconditioning India; Amit Sharma, Divisional Manager, Daikin Air-conditioning India; and Ranjit Kumar, Senior Manager – VRV Business, Daikin Air-conditioning India. The topics discussed were Selection and Design of VRF for Commercial/Residential Applications, Control Systems and their Impact on Energy Efficiency of VRV Systems, Hospital/Commercial Air Conditioning and VRV Systems, and Best Practices on Installation, Commissioning and Testing of VRF Systems.
