Honeywell Hosts Panel Discussion on IAQ

Honeywell Homes & Building Technologies hosted an event on Indoor Air Quality at The Leela, Mumbai on May 15. Named Connect 2018, the event brought together domain experts on the subject on a common platform for spreading awareness about the fast deterioration in indoor air quality in India, and the need to address it urgently.
There was a panel discussion, moderated by Ashish Rakheja – Partner, Aeon Integrated Building Design Consultants. The panellists were Anand Bansal – Senior VP, Info-edge India; Aneesh Kadyan – Director Operations, CBRE; Comm. (Retd.) Saket Singh – Chief Asset Officer, Bharti Care; Dr. Priyanka Kulshreshtha – Assistant Professor, Lady Irwin College, Delhi and Founder-Member, Indian Pollution Control Association and Society for Indoor Environment; Aseem Joshi, Regional General Manager – Honeywell Building Solutions; and P. C. Lohia – Senior VP, HVAC, Reliance Industries. In the backdrop of a WHO survey that found 14 of the top 15 Indian cities amongst those with the highest air pollution levels in the world, the panellists identified the culprits and outlined broad strategies to counter them. Ehraz Khan from Honeywell
made a presentation on Electronic Air Cleaners, an IAQ solution from the company that can be used in HVAC systems with minimal pressure drop. EAC has found
widespread adoption in Asia before being launched in India.
