Fujian Snowman Group of China owns Snowkey and Refcomp brands and the SRM technology for screw compressors. In view of the fast growing market in India, the group has entered the Indian arena with SRM Tec and RefComp range of products.RefComp, founded in Italy, became a wholly owned subsidiary of Fujian Snowman in 2013. It launched the world’s first screw compressor for R134a refrigerant in 2004, screw compressor with built-in inverter in 2010, and propane explosion-proof compressor in 2013. In 2014, it launched SW5L series – a new generation semi-hermetic screw refrigeration compressor integrated with Sweden SRM patented rotor profile. Its product range includes semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors – both single stage and two stage from 3HP to 70 HP, air cooled and water cooled condensing units, compressor rack systems, semi-hermetic screw compressors from 20 HP to 500 HP, and screw skids and condensing units. Refcomp range of compressors are suitable for Freon. RefComp as manufacturing plants at Lonigo in Italy and Fuzhou in China. Swedish SRM invented the double screw gas compressor in 1934. In 1946, it authorised Howden of Britain to be the first screw compressor manufacturer, followed by many other companies from Europe, America, Japan, etc. Subsequently, it developed oil injection screw compressors, asymmetrical profile lines, oil injection screw compressors, process screw compressors, natural gas screw compressors with discharge pressure up to 80bar, water lubrication systems and oil-free refrigeration screw compressors. In 2010, Swedish SRM, jointly with Snowman Corp., developed the new generation refrigeration screw compressor. In 2013, Snowman became the second largest shareholder of Swedish SRM. The SRM Tec range includes open type single stage screw compressors, open type double stage compound screw compressors, semi-hermetic single stage screw compressors, semi-hermetic double stage compound screw compressors and ammonia screw packages and skids. SRM Tec compressors are suitable both for ammonia and Freon.
