Emerson won the Best Refrigeration Product of the Year category at Cold Chain Industry Summit 2017 in Mumbai for its Copeland Scroll Digital Receiver Unit HLR. The award was presented on June 22 at an event organized to cover the challenges and  showcase trends facing the temperaturecontrolled supply chains in India and beyond. Earlier, the Digital Receiver Unit HLR was adjudged winner in the Best Innovative – New Cold Chain Technology Solution category at the Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) Cold Chain Industry Awards 2017 on June 4. The award was presented by Minister of State for Food Processing Industries, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, in New Delhi. ASSOCHAM has more than 400 Chambers and Trade Associations in its fold and serves more than 4,50,000 members from all over India. Shirish Adi, the newly appointed vice president and managing director, India, for Emerson’s Commercial and Residential Solutions platform said “Digital Receiver Units HLR are a unique offering for the India Cold Chain market and have received  a very good response.” The Digital HLR is designed to meet the needs of cold storages, quick service restaurants and the retail segment. Among its features are its  compact design that provides for a remotecondenser and digital scroll technology, which provide significant space and energy savings.
