Bry-Air, who introduced rotary silica gel dehumidifiers in India, has developed a ‘green’ dehumidifi er incorporating the BrySmart Energy Management System (patent pending). Most applications have considerable off -peak hours throughout the year. BrySmart, an energy control system, uses microprocessor based control technology to optimize the performance of the system over a wide range of conditions. It continuously monitors humidity loads and adjusts multiple operating parameters resulting in optimized performance and signifcant energy saving of up to 45% compared to conventional systems. Specifically, the microprocessor varies rotor speed, react temperature out and react airflow. The new EcoDry dehumidifier can be used as a stand-alone or in combination with a pre-cool or/ and post-cool module with process bypass configuration for space dehumidification/ RH control, standard process air application and product drying including resin dryer.
EcoDry provides a very low cost of ownership comprising annual energy usage and maintenance. It can be retrofitted to most installed systems, not just Bry-Air dehumidifiers. Bry-Air is the flagship company of Pahwa Enterprises. The group has 1200 employees and 10 manufacturing units.
