Bry-Air Launches Adsorption Chiller
18 August 2015

Bry-Air (Asia) has announced the launch of adsorption chillers in the 35 to 1180 kW range. The product is the first of its kind in India, and will be manufactured in India under license from Power Partners, Inc., USA. The adsorption chiller provides cooling using waste heat. It is meant to tap the abundant low grade waste heat available in process industries in India, and use it for process cooling or air conditioning. Low grade process heat (50°C-100°C) generally goes waste, and can now be used for cooling. The adsorption chiller has advantages like low electricity consumption, low noise and vibration, life expectancy of more than 20 years and low maintenance requirement. It is suitable for process industries like power plants, food and beverages and chemical manufacture, and for commercial areas like office buildings, hotels and malls. Bry-Air is a global solution provider for desiccant dehumidification, product drying, gas phase filtration, high temperature waste heat recovery and plastics auxiliaries. It is part of the Pahwa Group, with two manufacturing facilities in India, fully owned subsidiaries in China, Malaysia, Switzerland and Brazil, and a worldwide sales network. Power Partners, Inc., markets energy-efficient, environmentally friendly Eco-Max adsorption chillers manufactured in Georgia, USA. It is part of PPI, a manufacturing company whose brands include Power Partners, Eco-Max, Gap Partners and Change Partners.
