Ashish Rakheja, Past National President – ISHRAE, has been recently appointed a Consultant to the Planning Committee of ASHRAE, tasked with its globalization agenda. His current assignments at ASHRAE also include Chairman, Presidential ad-hoc on Developing Economies; Treasurer, Region at Large; and Vice Chair, TC 2.8 on Building Sustainability. His past roles include Chairman – Publication Committee; member – Nominating Committee; Co-Chairman – Developing Economies Conference at Manila;Member – Electronics Communications Committee; Regional Vice

Chair – CTTC; Coordination Coordinator, GGAC, etc. He has been an active ASHRAE member for over 20 years, and has played a major role in bringing recognition to ISHRAE at the international

platform. He is currently working on bringing the next ASHRAE Conference on Developing Economies to India for the first time. He has been Chair for ACRECONF India, an ASHRAE endorsed event, for five years.
