Alfa Laval – a global player in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fl uid handling – has won an order to supply a complete process line for a vegetable protein extraction plant in India. The order is valued at approximately SEK 50 million (Rs. 39 crore). The order comprises the delivery of a process line for refi ning de-oiled soy seed into vegetable protein, sugar concentrates and fi ber fractions. The process line includes separators, fi lters and heat exchangers. Delivery is scheduled for 2016.
