ASHRAE recently published Standard 200-2015, Methods of Testing Chilled Beams. This standard is used as the method of test in the new AHRI Active Chilled Beam (ACB) certification program. Members of AHRI’s Chilled Beams Product Section were involved in the development of Standard 200. The standard defines methods of testing chilled beams to determine performance for use by laboratories, and specifies the test instrumentation, facilities, installation methods, and procedures necessary for determining the performance of chilled beams.
