ACREX Road Show in Mumbai

The HVAC&R industry is warming up to ACREX India 2018, to be held at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru from February 22 to 24. Road shows in the form of well-attended Industry Meets are being held across the country. Following the first such road show in Delhi on May 18, Mumbai was the venue for the second Industry Meet on May 26. The event, held at The Leela in the evening, witnessed a full house. Mihir Sanghavi, ISHRAE Mumbai Chapter Treasurer, was the host for the evening. Chapter President Ajaj Kazi welcomed the participants who had commuted long distances to gather information about the 19th edition of ACREX India and to commit their support for it. D. Nirmal Ram, ISHRAE Past National President and ACREX 2018 Chair, spoke about ISHRAE and its various activities to strengthen the industry and empower the HVAC&R community. He enumerated the programs organised by the Society such as ISHRAE Certification Program (ICP), seminars, drafting of standards, student activities and ISHRAE Job Junction (IJJ). He spoke about the suitability of BIEC as the venue for ACREX – a Green certified world class facility spread over 34 acres, with 40,000 sqm of covered, column-less air conditioned exhibition space spanning three halls, conference halls and all that an event of this size needs. Once again, ACREX is spearheading the Build Fair Alliance (bfa) comprising ACREX India 2018 with the theme ‘Rising India, Enterprising & Cool’, ISH India powered by Indian Plumbing Association (IPA), Fire & Security India Expo (FSIE) and glasspro India. All these exhibitions will be held concurrently at the same venue. Event partners who have committed their support were acknowledged during t h e evening. Pankaj Dharkar, ISHRAE Past National President and ACREX 2016 Chair, expressed  onfidence that the 2018 edition of ACREX will surpass the earlier editions. Gurmeet Singh, IPA President, said IPA is delighted to be a part of ACREX. Paras Sirohia, President of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trades Association (RATA), expressed the support of his organisation. Sangita Jhangiani, President-elect, ISHRAE Mumbai Chapter, proposed the vote of thanks.
