Workshops conducted by ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturers are a regular feature of the ACREX program schedule. This year they were spread over 3 days, beginning February 25. The diverse topics ranged from ‘Air Distribution and Heat Load Calculations for Displacement Ventilation Systems’ and ‘Tall, Supertall and Megatall Building Design’ to ‘Design of Cold Storage as a Part of Cold Chain’ and ‘Safe & Save Ammonia Refrigeration Systems’. Concurrently, there were interactive panel discussions on ‘Safety at HVAC Workplace’, ‘Reducing Building Energy’, ‘All About Refrigerants’, ‘Fire and Safety Inside Glass Facades’, ‘Building Performance Score’ and ‘An Architect-Developer Interaction’.
