ACREX India is an ambitious and highly successful initiative started by Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) in the year 1990, with the aim to provide a business platform to HVAC&R companies to showcase their latest innovations and developments, and to create a brand image. Over the years, the show has been receiving overwhelming response from the industry. Now, in its 20th edition, ACREX India 2019 has registered participation from over 500 companies from across the globe, and has achieved the status of the world’s 6th largest show of the HVAC&R industry.

ACREX India 2019 – Creating New Paradigm for Enterprises
In 2019, ACREX India celebrates its 20th edition in Mumbai, the business capital of the Indian subcontinent, where the mega event will witness participation from more than 30 countries including Belgium, China, the Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, the Netherlands, UAE, the UK, Ukraine and the USA. With its features, participation and consortium status, ACREX India 2019 will not only be the launchpad for potential business-enabling collaborations, but also a live resource pool and seamless amalgamation of integrated building solutions.

ACREX India 2019 will be South Asia’s largest Exhibition and Conference on Air Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation and Intelligent Buildings, scheduled from February 28 to March 2, 2019 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. Abounding with endless opportunities for companies to showcase their products, ACREX India 2019 will be an institution in itself – being a deeply educative and informative event with a series of technical workshops to complement the exhibition. The workshops will be conducted by esteemed national and international speakers and will provide a platform for the industry to learn and exchange knowledge and expertise on the latest trends, directions and topics germane to the HVAC&R and Building Services industries.

ISHRAE endeavours to offer exceptional business opportunities to its members, whilst leading the industry by setting high standards of knowledge exchange and providing
constructive guidance. It has been a constant objective to create new concepts and sub-brands such as: aQuest – the Engineering Face off among students, Net Zero Energy Houses Shunya and PRANA, and most importantly, the Build Fair Alliance in its full form. All these initiatives have not only created a benchmark in the HVAC&R Industry but have also inspired other organizations and associations in the exhibition industry. With more than 500 participating brands and over 50,000 attendees from across the industry, the umbrella of Build Fair Alliance has the synergistic effect of the HVAC&R, Plumbing and Fire and Security societies, i.e. ISHRAE, IPA and FSAI coming together and showcasing the entire spectrum of building services related products and systems to the world. Build Fair Alliance hosts the following events, coinciding with and including ACREX:

The Grand Venue
Set up in 1991, the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) is the largest permanent exhibition centre in the private sector in India. BEC has successfully hosted innumerable prestigious international trade fairs and expositions over the years. Most ideally situated along the Western Express Highway in Goregaon, within 10 minutes from airports, at a walking distance from train stations and a 20 minute drive from the heart of the city, the center is constantly buzzing with activity and is followed by professionals across industries. There are numerous hotels, entertainment activities, retail shopping and sightseeing spots in close proximity. BEC consists of four large sized halls occupying over 45,000 sq. m. of centrally air-conditioned space for conducting exhibitions. The halls are Wi-Fi enabled, have optimal height, excellent lighting, quintessential well-designed ventilation and strong flooring to withstand even the heaviest machinery.

ISHRAE, founded in 1981 at New Delhi by a group of eminent HVAC&R professionals, has more than 12,000 HVAC&R professionals as members today and additionally as many as 7,500 student-members. ISHRAE operates from 41 Chapters and Sub-chapters spread all over the country with headqauters in Delhi. It is led by a team of elected officers, who are members of the Society working on a voluntary basis, collectively called the Board of Governors.
