ETA Engineering inaugurates new factory near Chennai

ETA Engineering Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of the Dubai-based ETA Ascon Group of companies has recently inaugurated a state-of-the- art manufacturing facility at Sriperumbadur near Chennai with a built up area of 85,000 sq ft, in a total plot area of 4.32 acres to manufacture Air Handling Units, Ductable Splits, Packaged Air Conditioners, Fan Coil Units and Scroll Chillers.

High precision automatic machinery has been installed to produce components to close tolerances, improved finish and increased productivity, including an Amada turret punch press, Canon high pressure injection machine, auto brazing line for 3/8 inch and ½ inch coils, hair pin bender for both 3/8 inch and half inch tubing upto a maximum length of 3 m, high speed aluminum fin press to punch upto 24 holes at a time in a row, auto indexing bullet type expander for ½ inch coil, vertical expander for 3/8 inch coil and a de-coiler for sheet metal in roll form.

For the first time in India, assembly of AHUs, split units and chillers will be conveyerised to increase productivity. All equipment performance will be assured with the following accreditations: 1. Eurovent Certification for AHUs – a first in India, 2. ARI Certification for cooling and heating coils, 3. TUV Nord Certification for EN 1886 Std, 4. UL Testing of AHUs for AMCA 210, ARI 410, ISO 3746, ISO 10816, 5. UL Testing for High Delta Coils, 6. CE Certification for Split Unit air conditioners.

A new comprehensive test lab facility is also planned for all products including psychrometric chambers, sound testing room and a chiller capacity bed upto 200 ton capacity. .
