Energy Zone 2006, in its second year of succession will be yet again presented alongside "HospitalityWorld 2006", an exclusive business-to-business forum for the Hospitality industry. To be held at MMRDA Grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai from 23rd - 26th January 2006, this business platform addresses the sphere of "Energy Conservation, Efficiency Measures and Renewable Energy".

Contrary to general belief that organizations have to fund their own energy saving projects & equipments, there are various financing options available. This lacuna of information has neither helped the cause of energy sector in the country nor the organizations themselves who can increase their profits by reducing expenses on Power and Fuel.

With crucial focus on this aspect, we have entered into a strategic alliance with India's premier and nodal agency: Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd [IREDA]. At Energy Zone, IREDA will present various funding options available to energy projects in the country.

The table below shows the presentation topics covered in the seminar to be held on 25th January, 2006.

Presentation Topic Presented By

Energy Auditing & Energy Efficiency - the need and how to achieve it.- Petroleum Conservation Research Association

Financing of Energy conservation projects  Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency
Solar Hot Water System - applications for 24 hours running of hot water - Aqua Engineering

Hot Water Generation from Air-Conditioning Machine  Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai
Engineered Ozone Systems & Variable Refrigerant Flow System - Voltas Limted

Clean Development Mechanism ITC Waste Water Treatment & its Reuse - Thermax

Other Salient Features:

Energy Zone promises to provide must-know information for all key personnel responsible for optimal functioning of their respective organizations. Through conferences & exhibition, Energy Zone aims to satiate the energy-related information needs of the Owners / CEOs / GMs and Chief Engineers.

The event would help the attendees in the following manner

Assist in keeping bottom-line under check by providing knowledge on how to audit energy consumption and identify areas where energy savings can benefit the organization.

Real life Case Studies will be shared by early acceptors and implementers of Energy Saving Models and Equipments. These presentations will highlight the cost saving enjoyed by them on adopting various energy saving concepts.

A host of ESCOs [Energy Saving Companies] that offer various types of energy saving equipment would highlight how implementing right technologies in your business will help.

Dedicated Pavilions at HW'06 are aimed at bringing energy saving equipment manufacturers and product marketers to showcase the latest that is available in the market today.

The attendance for the conference is restricted to Owners / CEOs / GMs / Project Managers and Chief Engineers from the hospitality industry. This is solely by invitation and prior registration as the seating capacity is limited.

To confirm your participation, call 022 - 5630 1020 Ext 368 /371 or email us at shashisarma@expressindia.com or energyzone@expresshospitality.com
